This letter is being opposed to share with readers the delightful experience my wife and I have had in the construction of our new home. Mr. Lance Moulton is owner of Northeast Builders, Inc., located in Henniker, New Hampshire. We have built seven new homes in four different states. We first contacted Northeast Builders in 2002 when looking for some property to build our custom home on. Lance helped us through the process, visiting several lots and advising us on which would best meet our needs. He worked with us to design our home and it was a pleasure working with his team. We recently contacted Lance to help us design and build an addition, and we look forward to the opportunity to work with Lance again on this new project.

When Lance designed and built an addition to our 18th Century home, he ran into a bizarre series of land elevation, soil and boulder challenges that he overcame beautifully. He creatively worked out the engineering of angles and cuts required to “fit” the addition to the stony contours of my property; the finished addition sits on the plot as if it were built right along with the original house in 1788!

Lance was a dream come true when it came to building a new house after most of our old house was destroyed by a fire. He helped us design a beautiful home that was uniquely suited to us. Lance has an excellent eye for design, and at the same time he is easy to work with—open to feedback, honest, direct, tactful, and always available. He was very accommodating to modifications we wanted to make over the course of building the house, and never tacked on additional fees except where changes led to real added costs in materials or labor. In addition, he has excellent relationships with other professionals involved in building a house, including electricians, plumbers, carpenters and the company that laid the foundation. We believe that this is due to Lance’s high level of competency at what he does, and that he stands behind his word.</p>
<p>Lance is highly professional, while also being personable, considerate, and thoughtful. (He also has a great sense of humor.)
